The Time For a Sustainable Plant-Based Alternative Sweetener Has Arrived.

We’ve discovered sugar in Plant stalks and stems, unlocking a value overlooked for centuries.

Nutritional.

Derived from stalks and stems, the sugar contains two basic ingredients, water and plant material (which contains carbohydrates and polyphenols).

Provides naturally-occurring antioxidants (Omega-3 and Omega-6), minerals, 10 essential amino-acids, probiotics and is high in fiber. Most sugar substitutes are are devoid of any nutritional value (e.g. Stevia, Sucralose (Splenda), Saccharin (Sweet ‘N Low), Aspartame (Nutrasweet) and Acesulfame-K).

Produced solely from cellulose-dominant plant stalks and stems, the product is vegan and contains no gluten or dairy products.

Partially comprised of xylose and beta glucose - indigestible carbs which limit impact on blood sugar levels and carbohydrate storage compared to traditional sugars. Lower predicted glycemic index (potential to raise blood glucose) than Sugar and some other sweeteners on the market. Sucralose (Splenda) and Saccharin (Sweet ‘N Low)linked to impaired glycemic response.

Sustainable.

Plant Stalks, Cereal Straw, Seeds & Hulls, and Fruit and Vegetable Waste are some plant materials available for upcycling. Our research has shown that our technology is capable of recovering food-grade sugar from all of these potential feedstocks.

Our biomass-diverse process means low cost, plentiful raw material for converting local cellulose and hemicellulose in the structural portions of plant waste into food- grade sugar around the world.

We’ve successfully done it with hemp - unlocking a value overlooked for centuries, recovering sugar from the cellulose and hemicellular stalks and stems.

Our first sustainable, upcycled, plant-based alternative to traditional and artificial sugars is worth more because it is more.

  • Derived from stalks and stems, the sugar contains two ingredients, water and plants (which contains carbohydrates, proteins and polyphenols)

  • Contains glucose, xylose, and trace amounts of other sugars and minerals

  • Partially comprised of xylose and beta glucose - indigestible carbs reducing blood sugar levels and carbohydrate storage compared to traditional sugars

  • Provides naturally- occurring antioxidants and minerals shown to support the immune system

  • Diluted sugar syrup is a single source fermentable adjunct - no other sugar sources needed.
